Contingent Staffing

Contingent workers are defined as self-employed professionals, self-employed contractors, consultants or other outsourced and non-permanent workers who are employed on a project basis. Who can work on site or remotely. However, they are not simply temporary workers – this lowers the high value nature and complexity of today’s contingent workforce. Contingent workers are highly qualified experts in their fields.

These workers are employed to complete specific tasks in accordance with the provisions of the Declaration of Work (SOW). Once the project is over, they leave, although they can be called back when another project comes up. As such, they are not employees of a company, and the business owner has no responsibility to provide permanent continuous work.
